Roger Heideman, President
A native of Illinois, Roger graduated from Illinois State University. With more than 30 years in the healthcare industry, Roger has experience in hospital and physician administration, private, public and provider-owned insurance companies. He has experience negotiating provider contracts as well as extensive training in underwriting and pricing. In addition, Roger played an integral role in designing and implementing insurance products for OSF HealthPlans. He has experience in working with Fortune 500 Companies and consultants with company benefits, including the Federal Employees Health Benefits as well as the State of Illinois Employee benefits. He has served on various boards throughout the community.
Perry Metevier, Client Support Specialist, Client Advocate
Perry has been with Group Benefits Source since April of 2023. He has years in customer support/service and a degree in accounting. He served 2 contracts in the Army. Deployed to Afghanistan in 2011. Him and his family moved to Bloomington in 2018 to be closer to family.
Susan Brown, Semi retired, Client Support Specialist, Client Advocate, Bill Auditor
Susan has been with Group Benefits Source since April of 2015. She enjoys talking with clients and helping them navigate the wonder world of group insurance! She and her family moved to Bloomington in 1988 from Southern California. She came to GBS after having worked as an accounting/payroll specialist for over 25 years. She enjoys spending time with her 4 grandchildren, knitting, crocheting, the color purple, volunteering with various charitable organizations and playing in her church Bell Choir.
