Group Benefits Source, Inc. was founded in 2003 by Illinois native Roger Heideman. After nearly 20 years in hospital and physician administration—and leadership roles at public, private, and provider-owned insurance companies—Roger saw employers and their teams needed a true benefits advocate.
Armed with sales, contracting, underwriting, and pricing expertise, he launched GBS to fill that gap. Our mission has always been simple: provide expert guidance and unwavering advocacy to help businesses create smarter benefit programs for their growing teams.
